Hm. The Metalink note I referred earlier is confusing. Either it's been changed since I read it the first time, or I wasn't awake when reading it. What I wanted to point you to was a Solaris bug (4675878). http://sunsolve.sun.com/pub-cgi/retrieve.pl?display=plain&doc=finfodoc%2F729 52

Thanks for this pointer, Sten!

I'm trying to understand if this is my problem. We're on 9.2.0.5, and the MetaLink note says that it applies only to 9.0.1.x. But, then you suggest that there's a Solaris bug/patch component, too. Anyhow, I'm going to continue digging and researching.

Thanks,

-Mark
