no books on this topic -- only a seminar, the one that was mentioned by someone else earlier in this thread. it's called "SQL: Writing it Right" and it is offered every now and then by Oracle, in various countries.

I am planning to develop my own content (the above seminar is "owned" by Oracle) but so far I have been too busy getting my new company started. stay tuned ...
