i thought that in order to use pga_aggregate_taget i had to have workarea_size_policy =auto or else it reverted back to using sort_area_size, hash_area_size? could have sworn that was in the docs...

if not what happens if i have pga_aggregate_target with manual?

couldn't i just do an alter session and jack up the sort_area_size for the process?
