What's the difference between Oracle and SQL Server?

What do you think of this idea: Using Windows everywhere instead of unix.

People are talking about linux a lot lately. Would it be wise for us to move from Windows to linux?

I don't know how you would phrase this one: Are you a careerist? Someone whose first priority is using the position as a stepping stone to get another position higher up.
