RE: 9205 patchset Linking error ......

Rojenkin,
I believe you are correct in this solution. I remember the linking step in the instruction that I have. I tried 3 different sets of instructions to get 9.2.0.2 then the 9.2.0.5 patch installed. All were different. I Finally discarded them because of different errors and used human intuition in the load steps and they worked perfectly.

I copied the libclntsh.so.9.0 file from another server with the same OS
and database version and then created the link. I was then able to relink Oracle.

Thanks for your response.

I did try many times "relink all" command and is generating bunch of errors.
It is also corrupting 9201 software. Oracle analyst says there may be some
UNIX configuration or permissions problems, but could not identify what
the
problem is. Is there any UNIX parameter that I am missing or set too low?

Try relinking it manually using "relink oracle" to get more information
on
the error.

I suppose the message's probably in the installer logs, too...
