Yes, I read James's paper - interesting, but it seems a little Forms oriented (all this OPI stuff, bug 2425312), pre-processing written in tcl [which is unfortunately foreign to me] and most importantly I don't remember seeing bind variables that are user defined types being addressed in the paper.

I don't mind doing the work semi-manually, as long as these complex bind variables can be interpreted somehow to derive original values
