I have global indexes on my one partitioned table. I tried local indexes and the application ran like a snail so we switched back and everything is ok again. I started with global because that was the default when I partitioned the table, years ago and switched because OEM index tuning wizard suggested it. Bad idea!

Ruth

I pretty much only use local indexes. Do any of you use global indexes on partitioned tables and why?
