Never do anything just because a wizard recommends it to you.. Even when some alive "wizard" recommends you something you should ask for verified justification.

  I have global indexes on my one partitioned table. I tried local indexes and the application ran like a snail so we switched back and everything is ok again. I started with global because that was the default when I partitioned the table, years ago and switched because OEM index tuning wizard suggested it. Bad idea!
