Hi List,

I know this is OT. But its really urgent as my production DB server is down and my sysadmin is not able to make it up. If somebody has faced this or know anything, pls help me out.

Today while adding up some space in root partition (Sun solaris E3500, sparc 2.6, 32 bit), a file /usr/lib/ld.so.1 was accidently dropped. Afterwards no command was running on the server. So server was hard rebooted and we booted it from
the CD and got the prompt.
>From the backup we copied ld.so.1 in /usr/lib. Even link was created.

But when we tried to boot again from hard disk it is still saying 'cannot find /usr/lib/ld.so.1'. The file is there, but it's not detecting.

Can somebody help me ?

Regards,
~Dilip
