Manually managed tablespaces are tablespaces which segments use freelists for keeping track of insertable blocks.
Automatic segment space tablespaces are LMT tablespaces which use bitmaps for same purpose. Unlike ASSM tablespaces, "manually managed" tablespaces can be either LMTs or DMTs.
