Re: alter session

Dennis As I asked in my original question , how would plustrace role explain the fact that
 I create a user scott

 and then gave him create session, create table privileges only.

 Why is he able to do

 alter session set nls_date_format='dd-mon-yyyy' ;

 and

 alter session set nls_language=French;

 but he is unable to

 alter session set sql_trace=true ;
