The last time I checked (8.1.5 though), you got the original statement with an execution plan that was clearly not the plan for the text. But you didn't get the rewritten text in the trace. There may be an event to make this dump to the trace file, but I haven't checked for that yet.
Event 10730 might be relevant - it's actually for RLS and FGA, but it might also have an effect on query rewrite.
