use the F8 key in TOAD. Recalls the last 1000+ SQL statements that were
run.
it also have the 'autocomplete' functionality too...
for instance... I type 'sf' then space and it replaces it with 'select * from' pretty easy...

One question though,how would you "build your character" if your editor could buffer more than 1 command??

I recall 8.0 has a nice sqlplus worksheet... That was nice much better than the new worksheet (which I don't use)I could never get it to work on versions >8.0
