RE: Shifting of Servers - Practical Problems

We have similiar setups here. Most servers are remote. What we do is maintain a "master" server configuration in house. We either burn a tape from that to be sent to the remote site (prefered method), or just push the files over the wire (subject to comm issues). It works well if you have someone at the remote site who can hang tapes.
