RE: 1099 Contract

If you're planning on trying 1099 contracting, be sure to read IRS publication 1976 titled "Independent Contractor or Employee". There are certain "tests" you have to pass for the IRS to consider you an independent contractor.

Another alternative is to set up a corporation and enter into a corp-to-corp relationship with your clients. They pay your corporation, and your corporation pays you as a W2 employee.
