Hello guys,

I am trying to implement a standard for my developers to use dbms_application_info package. I ran a 10046 trace against the package and i dont see much of load on the server.

Would like to know any tips/horror stories associated with dbms_application_info. Just want to take precautions before we change all of ur apps.

We hv tons of shell script jobs, cscripts, forms3, delphi, mid tier apps floating around our 7.3.4 databases.

btw i am gonna use the esteemed Steven Feuerstein's variation of a wrapper for the package.

Thanks
Mandar
