This e-mail is a critical, technical alert which is being sent as a service to all MetaLink users.

The Oracle Security Product Management team has published the following four alerts on MetaLink:

Security Alert #38: Security Vulnerability in Oracle Net (Oracle9i Release 2 Database Server) Note: 207268.1

Oracle Security Alert #39: Oracle9i Application Server - Web Cache Administrator Password Not Encrypted Note:207271.1

Security Alert #40: Oracle Net Listener Vulnerabilities Note:207269.1

Oracle Security Alert #41: Oracle9i Application Server Oracle Java Server Page (OJSP) Demos Vulnerability Note:207272.1

To view the alerts, log on MetaLink at http://metalink.oracle.com and refer to the My Headlines page. A News & Notes containing the alerts has been published on the My Headlines page entitled "Oracle Security Alerts #38, 39, 40 and 41 issued 13 August 2002".
