I don't get what it means when the oraperf report says the tuning
suggestions are "ranked" in order of the potential impact they may have on
performance.
It seems like that means the item at the top of the list would have the most potential impact, but the report also has an estimate of the percent improvement you might expect for each suggestion. On one report, the percent for these items (from the top of the list and working down) was: 5%, 30%, 8%. If tuning the first one might only have a 5% impact, why is it at the top of the list?
