Hi Gurus,

I am working on a Sybase to Oracle migration project where i need to write a function which accepts username , old password and new password as parameters and modifies the account(Oracle Schema ) with the new password.
If the password is correct, then only password modification should take place.

Now, my question is :

How to validate the user given password as correct or not? (becos Oracle stores password by encrypting it!).

Any suggestions will be of great help to me.

TIA,
Arul.
