Mary,

I did not try to install the database, but I did install the client side stuff on ME from the Win95/98 disks & that ran just fine.

The Prentice Hall textbook for my university database class came with a cd pack from Prenticehall. IN it are Oracle 8.1.5 for NT and Oracle 8.1.5 for 98. I have student with the ME operation system and she cannot get the Win 98 Cd to install Oracle.

Is it possible to run Oracle under ME and does anyone have suggestions on how to get it to load?
