I understand that. Actually, I have been doing "catexp7.sql" on SUn
SOlaris several times to export DB to another ORACLE 7 computer. On SUn if
you doing "catexp7.sql", after finish you need immediate run "catexp8" to
change the view back. Otherwise your ORACLE 8 export will have problem.
My question is why " ORACLE put this catexp7 on scripts"? Because most
people won't export DB to ORACLE 7.
