Replicate data among different locations

Hi!

I have a question about advanced replication (a topic to which I did not have much exposure so far).

We have three databases (plus a web server to go along with it) in Europe, Australia and Canada. If a user in Europe updates some records in that database, we would like to have it replicated to the other two databases within 15 minutes. In other words: within 15 minutes, a user that queries the database in Australia or Canada can view that information.

Would advanced replication be the way to go?

This is 8.1.6 on Windows 2000 (probably Sun Solaris soon).

Thanks, Received on Mon Dec 11 2000 - 12:51:15 CST
