NT exports over 2G thru "pipes and compress"

I have a table in an NT-based 8.05 oracle which would export to just barely over 2G.

Has anyone done the routine Unix-based trick of "pipe to compress" in an NT environment?

Would you care to share your wise and wonderful solution?
