I'm sure you can dump dump enough segment headers to figure out how and where to zip the data file. This might not be supported, however.

Anyone heard of a built-in or utility that lets me reset a table's HWM?

I *know* there is something out there that let's me do this short of a truncate or drop/create, but I must have been hitting the crack pipe too hard lately and can't remember.
