Re: listener wont connect any more sessions and wont stop/start

Hi,

Hope the port is working and active.. (1521)... Did your sysadmins check that ?? Is that pinging ??

As far as I know.. you will not be able to start any services on a different port unless it is successfully stopped or killed. (Reason unable to start on 1526). But you should be able to do it after a reboot.. It seems your listner was working after reboot. Is it ??

Was there any ZOOMBIE or DEFUNCT Process ?? If the process goes to PARENT i.e. level 1.., SYSADMINS should be able to tell you .. (But generally we are not able to kill that process and reboot is required to kill / terminate it)
