Thanks for the reply but I found the problem. The Oracle 2.5 driver
obviously will run over
sql*net 2.3.4 and not NET 8. I do not understand that because I =
installed
everything from the
Oracle 8 CD. I installed sql*net 2.3.4 and it works.
