Hi, list,



I just logged an i-tar with Metalink to report an ora-7445 error in a
development database.


I uploaded the alert log and a trace file.  About 20 minutes later, "Doug"
calls ME to tell


me that problems logged over the internet are receiving higher priority than
those phoned in,


and that he is working on my problem... amazing to me, because in the i-tar
I did specify


a development database, not production .



What a pleasant surprise !
