You are correct for an expert level position, at least here in Dallas. However, Suhen's description is more in line with a mid-level DBA. You either have to have experience to command those dollars, or be a really good negotiator (read BSer).

According to the web site at
http://www.homefair.com/homefair/cmr/salcalc.html , a Dallas salary of
$100,000 would equate to the same life-style in Manhattan as a salary of
$206,268. So suddenly Rachel Carmichael's newbie pay rate of $75 doesn't
seem quite as impressive. ;-)

Ohh,, I was under impression that in US you guys make tons of money working as a DBA. I thought they give you around 70-100 $ / hour...!!!!!!!!
