Hi all,

We are running 805 on DG UX, lately one of my package is generating ORA-3113, with ORA-7445 [11] ...

I am trying to investigate why, but don't have a clue. The message in ALERT.LOG file says, core file is dumped, I can even see the core file being generated, but by the time I try to copy it to another directory for analysis (like I know everything), the file gets deleted. I haven't been able to figure out why this core file gets deleted, we do have a cron job that deletes all core files, but that doesn't run until 10pm.

Also to trace ORA-03113, I used 'alter session set events '3113 trace name errorstack level 3', it dumped a trace file. Now, before I get, put on hold for 2 hours and log a tar, is there anything that I can look in the trace files to investigate what is causing 3113?

Thanks in advance
Raj
