And why, praytell, would you want to temp the furious and capricious gods of Oracle Databases by changing the data dictionary objects in ANY WAY?

Oh ye of great pride in your skill, unsatisfied with the manner of implementation of the dictionary by the developers that wrote the actual software. Thy shame!

Thy sacred duties in the area of Dictionary Maintenance shall be limited to providing tablespace sufficient for growth and nothing further! As a DBA, forget thee not thy primary rule - the Data Dictionary is sacred and is not to be trifled with!

Wouldst thou condem the Soul of your database to instability and uncertainity to satisfy thy longings to control each and every bit in thy domain? Knowest thy not the meaning oft the adage "Leave well enough alone?"

P.S. Probably not.

Just noticed that all of the objects in all of my databases that are owned by SYS and SYSTEM have a PCTINCREASE of 50. Will anything detrimental occur if I now change them to 0?
