Sizing maxextents

Oracle 8.05/HPUX

I learned the hard way one time that you shouldn't set maxextents to unlimited on a tablespace/datafile on UNIX because you can corrupt it if it goes over 2GB.

What about objects? Is there any harm in setting their maxextents to unlimited?
