I do not know why would you do it, but you can use ODBC and INTERSOLV = drivers that you can install from your Developer CD. I played with ODBC = four years ago, and it worked, but I think we had some issues with = PL/SQL and, ofcourse, you can't use Oracle specific SQL syntax in code = that comunicates with database (like decode, in-line functions, floor, = ceil, etc.). Sorry, can't help with INTERSOLV stuff. Maybe it has = improved during last couple of years.

What I really mean is that Developer is very good tool for Oracle based = application, and you can achieve a lot using it, but I would consider = another front end tool (or language) if I needed to create an = application that needs to talk to other databases. =20
