Hi Schoen Volker,
Today only i did the autostart work of listener and Oracle8i database on Redhat Linux 6.1 . You can find the apprpriate document for the same in oracle-linux forum in www.oracle.com . You have to scroll through all the messages(you will be able to find out by concentrating on subject). You have to write the shell scripts. it works fine. I am very sorry i dont have the softcopy to forward you. Bye
Ravi.
