Hello everybody,

I am new to Forms and I have installed Oracle Developer Suite 10gR2 ( on my laptop for study purposes.

When I try to access the online help (Help -> Forms on OTN...) I receive the following error message:
"FRM-18126 could not invoke the browser".

The help advices to "Check to see if the browser specified in the preferences exist.". I checked, in preferences I specified an existing browser.

What else should I do now?

I appreciate any help on this issue.

Its one of the registry entries and I can't remember which.

Try restarting the OC4J instance. Start your browser and put in http://<hostname>:8888/ this should show you the OC4J home page.

@someone with 9i/10g: Please go into your registry and find which entry under Oracle points to your browser (probably IE).

Try to change it in the registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER --> Software -->
Oracle --> Toolkit -->TKBrowser
1) C:\Program Files\Internet
2) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe
