How i can execute two queries at a same time in the sql or sql plus editor in versions of Oracle 8i or 9i

you could use dbms_job...and submit the two queries(written in stored procedure form) at the same time. that should work...

Or you can write two SQLs in a .sql file and run the file from sql prompt.
