Hi Robert,

i recently installed 7.3.2.1 and 7.2 on AIX 4.1.2 Motorola Powerstack.
No problems with svrmgrl.
You have checked your .../orainst/install.log for errors!?
Any problems in make.log. 
(Lognames may be wrong, have no CPU handy)
Remember, you need the extra c-compiler for installaion.
Check for cc, ld, ar.
For svrmgrm you need a PTF, look for installation manual for number.
