I like "Oracle SQL Developer's Guide" by Carolyn and
> and Jack Hursch, published by Windcrest/McGraw-Hill at $21.95.  It has

It has helped me most often in getting going on DBA tasks.  Then I go to 
the Oracle reference set that comes with the software.  Good Luck!
