I am running Oracle Enterprise Manager Console 10.2.0.0 on Linux WS4.
When I right click on an object, the right click menu appears. The
problem is that the right click menu disappears when I let go of the
right mouse button. If I want to select something from the right click
menu such as "Show Object DDL..." then I need to press and hold the
Right mouse button and then highlight the option (Show Object DDL) and
then press the Left mouse button. It almost requires two hands on the
mouse. I'd like to know why this happens and how to fix it.

Here are two ways that I have found to get around the problem:

1. Use the keyboard to navigate to the object and then press Alt-O to
get the menu.
2. If I want to right click table 'B', then highlight another table and
then right click table 'B'. With some objects, the Right-click menu
will stick.
