Hello,

We're trying to us OAS 4081 to run stored packages/procedures on a remote
machine using DB links. So far, so good - we created the links and synonyms
and were able to desc and/or select from them.

What we're running into is this combo of OWS-05101 & ORA-20002 when trying
to run one of the "remote" procedures. I'm looking thru metalink and only
find something about ORA-20002 not being able to describe remote objects.
What does that mean? This configuration can't work?

TIA,
Verna
