Shrinkwrapping Oracle-application with oracle

In order to simplify installation of a product I would like to investigate the idea of pre-preparing the oracle database off the production site
and the just dropping it into the production machine. Alternatively, if tere is a way of executing the installation script with preconfigured parameters and no prompting,

Has anyone done, this? Any special obstacles.

Of course this requires that I know the configuration, but I think we have fairly good control of this.
