I have found from sad experience that I.E. does not display mime type
application/pdf correctly (embedded pdf). It seems to bring up the Acrobat
reader but displays nothing.

Further I have also found that displaying PDF files is somewhat flaky. It
displays some but not all.

Unfortunately, I have found no solution other than using Netscape for such
purposes.
