Hi all:

How can I set up so that user can enter a null password when logging in from
one of the Oracle tools ? Currently, they are using / to gain access to the
server from the unix prompt. From what I understand, such setup uses
authentication from unix account. What setup must I go through in order to
allow user to log in to the server from client based tools in the same
fashion ? Oracle won't accept blank in the password prompt.

Many thanks in advance.

Tram
