When I try to launch a job using the enterprise manager console, the job
fails: Failed to authenticate user

The job is validated ok. I can't find anything in the listener log & trace
files. The dbsnmp subagent is running. The error comes both using the
preferred credentials and also when I overrule them.


Why does the authentification fail ? The userid & passwords are correct.
any helpful tip/comment is very welcome.
