Neelufar,
One answer to this question is to use a smart
replication/transfer and conversion tool for use between Oracle and
textfiles, DB2/400, DB2/2, SQLServer and every other datasource you
can reach using 32-bit ODBC. Check out and download from
http://www.sqlmover.com. In you case - install your Intersolv
(www.intersolv.com) Oracle 32-bit ODBC driver if you haven't already and
use Intersolv or MS ODBC driver for text
files. The MS version can be downloaded from the same place as SQLMover.
Feel free to use any kind of field separator. Once done with this - choose
a table or write a
query against Oracle Now go to the mappings tab and
press GUESS. save and execute. Shouldn´t take more than 2 minutes to set
up. Full error control included.
Should you want to do something else while the query(ies) or table(s) are
being replicated - just set the scheduler to do the job. An evaluation key
for the full fledged version of SQLMover is 1KKJBFJYF.
