Hi All:
We are developing an application using Developer/2000 Oracle Forms 4.5 and a desktop GIS software (arcView) in the Windows NT environment. Due to a limitation with Forms 4.5's DDE capabilities, it is not able to respond to DDE requests from the GIS software. In other words, Forms does not like being a DDE server to a DDE client. Thus it is extremely difficult to launch/control Forms from the GIS software.
I would appreciate it if anyone has a workaround or a solution to this problem of inter-application communication.
