If you don't understand the differences between Solaris and Linux in
their history and quality but feel that your contribution helped
here ... you got me wondering about you.

How much experience do you have supporting production databases on
Solaris exactly anyway?

You can get "real Solaris" not the OpenSolaris same cost as you can
get OEL ... free.
