Oracle 10.2.0.3 on Linux.

When I issue a statement like 'ALTER USER scott IDENTIFIED BY newpwd',
I can't fnd the query in the shared pool query cache (v$sql). Is there
a security mechanism in place which protects against caching these
kind of queries ?

Matthias
