Recently I downloaded and tried to install 10g Standard Edition on
RHEL 4 (64bit). Everything went fine except for errors in creating
Oracle Net Configuration Assistant, Oracle Database Configuration
Assistant and iSQL*Plus Configuration Assistant.

I tried to recompile using the configToolFailedCommands scripts, but
the same problem occurred. The problem is missing Java classes which
were suppose to be provided by the Oracle installation files. The
Oracle UI protested that it couldn't find njni10 (jniGetOracleHome).

I search both my Linux libraries and the two Oracle provided libraries
and found no class remotely resembling the missing class names. I
search the previous postings of this group and found that several
people had the same problem, but it seems that no one give them a
satisfactory answer to their question.

My question is this:

1. Do I have to try to install the Enterprise edition in order to get
these tools to compile? I do not want to this since I wish to purchase
a Standard license.

2. Is the missing Java class obtainable from somewhere else?

Any help would be appreciated.
