Please if you can go for the
1. Custom installation from Oracle Universall Installer and make the
JRE to be installed,
Select the check box while you are in the custom installation. 2. Then go for the dbca and please then check the alert.log. 3. As Oracle installs the JRE portion by default from Oracle 9 onwards, you need not to do
the symbolic link settings.
4. Please revert back on the same.
