READY, FIRE, AIM! When you find yourself in a hole, your first actions should be to STOP DIGGING! Before you do anything else, make at least 2 copies of the files from the backup location. This is so you can at least get back to where you are right now.

Since it appears you don't really know what you are doing, hire somebody who has a fighting chance to fix this mess.
